EURe is a stablecoin that is linked one to one to the euro. This means that one EURe always equals one euro. This link is guaranteed by the underlying system of reserves and regular audits. For each EURe issued, an equivalent amount of euros is held in a secure, controlled bank account. Regular external audits ensure that there are always sufficient reserves to cover all EURe spent, providing trust and stability to users. This allows users to be confident that the value of their EURe remains stable and always equals one euro.
You can obtain EURe by transferring euros from your bank account to your Greenhood IBAN. This can be done via the dApp of our partner Monerium, which can be found via the 'Apps' button at the bottom right of the Greenhood wallet.
We offer contactless payment with the Greenhood card or by using the NFC chip in your phone. Greenhood contactless payment is made possible by our partner Gnosispay. They offer this service in combination with a VISA card.
The Greenhood Coin is a digital token that represents ownership in the Greenhood cooperative. You can purchase, trade, or hold these tokens however you like. In addition, they grant voting rights when you become an official member of the cooperative.
